LRB Cover Prints
The artist and writer Peter Campbell has created the covers of the London Review of Books since 1992. His playful and often quirky watercolours have become a distinctive and much loved feature of the magazine. As Perry Anderson has written:
'The nonchalant wit and beauty of Peter Campbell's typewriters and wash basins, tousled bedspreads and tropical frondage, offer a promesse de bonheur of what lies within the magazine...The covers say more of this periodical than any other in the world.'
High quality signed prints of Peter Campbell's LRB covers are now available for purchase. Each print is reproduced on demand and printed using the giclée process (giclée means 'spraying of ink'). The result of the giclée process is a print which preserves the detail of the original with remarkable fidelity. Those we offer are made on Hannemuhle rag matt paper (acid free) using light-fast inks.
Prints are available in two sizes:
| Small (30.5cm x 40.6cm / 12" x16" / A3): | £54 |
| Large (42cm x 59.4cm / 16.5" x 23.4" / A2): | £67 |
They will be mailed to you unframed carefully packaged in a robust cardboard tube. Shipping is charged per item — £8 within the UK, £13 within Europe, and £18 to the rest of the world. Because of the different shipping method, prints cannot be combined in a single order with books; if you would also like to order books today, please place them in a separate order.
To help you choose your print, the range of images currently available have been arranged by category and by year.
